Dr. Samantha Cardinal joined the practice in 2023 and, in 2024, proudly became the owner of Coastal Smiles Family Orthodontics, carrying on the legacy of her mother, Dr. Kim Kundinger.

B.S. in Health Science from Wake Forest University
M.S. in Oral Health Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University (graduating top of her class)
Second M.S. in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Marquette University
Served as Chief Resident at Marquette University
She is completing her Board Certification with the American Board of Orthodontics.
Community Roots & Personal Interests
Back in Naples with her husband Jason, their son Bradley, Yellow Lab, Patton, Golden Retriever Millie, and rescued cat, Obi. Dr. Sam enjoys family time, pickleball, and the Gulf beaches. She is passionate about making every patient’s journey positive, collaborative, and tailored, helping them achieve smiles that are both beautiful and lasting.
